About Jenny
Jenny Ford is an award-winning, bestselling, multi-genre author whose heartfelt stories aim to uplift, inspire, and connect. With a narrative style that draws readers deep into the minds and emotions of her characters, Jenny writes with soul, purpose, and positivity.
After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, Jenny’s career took an unexpected turn from running a successful beauty therapy business to discovering her gift for writing. “Some of my clients would share the most moving stories,” she says. “Many were just looking for someone to listen. I’ve always been an empath, a caring presence but my own journey deepened that part of me and gave me fresh insight. That compassion now lives in the characters I create.”
Her debut novel, Prisoner Within, became a bestseller, and her deeply personal nonfiction book The Loss of a Child written about the loss of her own daughter received an award for its emotional depth and honesty. Jenny has since written several other books, spanning fiction and nonfiction, each one offering readers a sense of hope and connection.
From heartfelt fiction to soul-nourishing reflections, Jenny’s books are written with the intention to inspire, heal, and uplift. Whether you're looking for comfort, courage, or simply a story to warm your heart, she hopes you’ll find something in her words that speaks to you.

The worst thing that a parent can ever go through is the loss of a child. The pain, the emptiness, the guilt and the sadness that you feel, is like no other. Does it get any easier? Yes, it does. Will your heart ever mend? Yes, it will. But it does take time to heal. Jenny lost her little girl twenty-eight years ago – a long time. But had she healed? Not as much as she thought. That was until she decided to write this book and share her story with the world. “I’m sharing this heartbreaking time of my life to let other parents know that it’s okay to feel the way they do. I want to let people know that talking about their feelings, their sorrow, their worries, their pain – but also their joy, could help them to grieve and be more at peace with themselves and the world around them – just like I have!” – Jenny Ford
